Non-Extraction Orthodontics
Non-Extraction Orthodontics
Although the dental community has routinely removed permanent teeth on
patients prior to doing orthodontics, we now know that most of these teeth did
not need to be removed. Most of these teeth were taken out to compensate for a
skeletal discrepancy and the end result may be straight teeth but these patients
end up with poor facial esthetics. Many of these patients have a diminished
lower face which makes them look older than they are, additionally many of them
end up with TMJ problems. I treat the majority of my cases without removing
teeth by first treating any skeletal discrepancies.
If you or someone you love needs to have an orthodontic evaluation lease call
our office for a no-charge consultation.
